How it works.

The label says Gräfenberg, but where is that actually? VinoSomm maps Germany's vineyards and shows them to you as glowing parcels on a 3D map: the slope above the river, the neighboring site, the whole region. Tap a vineyard, and you see the wines that grow there. That's how origin goes from a technical term to a picture in your head.

Which vineyards are on the map?

Germany's vineyards are mapped across the board, from the major regions down to the single steep slope. More countries follow.

What does the 3D view give me?

A vineyard is topography: slope and aspect decide the wine. In 3D you understand at a glance what makes a site special.

Can I see a winery's vineyards too?

Yes. In the winery profile the estate's own vineyards are marked on the map, classification included for VDP estates.
